Return and refund policy
Right of withdrawal:
You have the right to withdraw from this contract without giving any reason within fourteen days. The withdrawal period will expire fourteen days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods.
Exercising the right of withdrawal:
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unambiguous statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.
Effects of retraction:
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery charges (except for any supplementary costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than our least expensive standard delivery option), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
Return of goods:
You must return or hand over the goods to us or to someone we have authorized to receive them, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
Responsibility :
Your liability is limited to the depreciation of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the goods.
PROVISIONS RELATING TO LEGAL GUARANTEES
Article L217-4 of the Consumer Code
The seller is obligated to deliver goods that conform to the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. The seller is also liable for any lack of conformity resulting from the packaging, assembly instructions, or installation when the latter was the seller's responsibility under the contract or was carried out under the seller's supervision.
Article L217-5 of the Consumer Code
To comply with the contract, the goods must:
– To be fit for the purpose for which goods of the same type are normally used and, where applicable:
correspond to the description given by the seller and possess the qualities that the seller presented to the buyer in the form of a sample or model
to possess the qualities that a buyer can legitimately expect, given the public statements made by the seller, the producer, or their representative, particularly in advertising or labeling
– Or present the characteristics defined by mutual agreement between the parties or be suitable for any special purpose sought by the buyer, brought to the attention of the seller and which the latter has accepted.
Article L217-12 of the Consumer Code
The action resulting from the lack of conformity is time-barred after two years from the delivery of the goods.
Article L217-16 of the Consumer Code
When the buyer requests the seller, during the term of the commercial warranty granted upon the purchase or repair of movable property, to carry out repairs covered by the warranty, any period of immobilization of at least seven (7) days is added to the remaining term of the warranty. This period begins from the date of the buyer's request for service or the date the property is made available for repair, if the latter is later than the request for service.
Article 1641 of the Civil Code
The seller is bound by the warranty against hidden defects in the thing sold which render it unfit for the use for which it is intended, or which diminish this use to such an extent that the buyer would not have acquired it, or would have given only a lower price, if he had known of them.
Article 1648, paragraph 1 of the Civil Code
The action resulting from latent defects must be brought by the purchaser within two (2) years from the discovery of the defect.
